Job description:

Administration Assistant Dispatch is to accordance with predetermined work objectives (as per established standard operating procedures), responsible for carrying out all clerical operations associated with Dispatch/Warehousing administration activities, as well as the capture of all dispatch information onto the necessary reports.

Function:

When and where necessary, offer administrative support to the Warehouse & Distribution Manager, Senior Supervisors, Supervisors, Sales- and other Depts.
Compile, edit, record, file, and capture documents—this is document control.
Make sure that every CHEP pallet that is given and received is recorded each day.

To ensure accuracy, spot-check loads after they have been picked up and loaded.
as necessary, communicate with the sales department.
Contact Operations Administration to obtain the Production Plan.
Create orders, fill out CHEP slips, loading books, and other dispatch paperwork.
Orders should be confirmed and posted on the board in accordance with the route plan.

Respond to questions from the dispatch crew about placed orders.
When and when necessary, coordinate changes to administrative documents, unfulfilled orders, and delivery information.
Make sure that data is accurately captured and updated on Excel and SharePoint.

Be sure to submit all Reports on time.
Create a new production plan based on the order that was received.
Make sure the quantity corresponds to the orders.
To achieve 100% loading efficiency, assist with truck loading in accordance with SOP.
When and where necessary, record loading information on applicable computer sheets and printed copies.

Qualification:

Grade 12 / NQF Level 4 Equivalent.

Experience:

At least 3 years’ experience in Warehousing/ Distribution environment.
An advantage would be a logistics or supply chain management diploma.
NAV practical experience will be a distinct benefit.

Computer literate (Microsoft package) is a requirement.
a readiness to put in more time, work extra shifts, and work weekends as needed.
