Job description:
Council Laison to assist the client in obtaining an uninterrupted utilities supply at the lowest cost by providing a highly effective and efficient council liaison and technical service that will guarantee that questions logged in relation to utility accounts for the client are followed up and resolved accurately and on time.
Function:
receiving inquiries and inquiry requests from clients and coworkers
To answer questions, conduct research, examine the data, and create a workable plan of action.
Investigate audits in the field
timely entry of each and every query into the appropriate tracker
To successfully implement adjustments, take immediate action and handle all follow-up, negotiation, planning, and coordination with municipalities and/or landlords.
Keep query tracker current with insightful comments on prior activities, upcoming tasks, and scheduled dates sheets, and provide status reports until completion at least twice each week.
Check tariffs and metre readings to make sure cost-reflective recovery.
Construct reconciliations as needed.
Make that deadlines are met in compliance with the contracts’ SLAs.
Compile monthly reports in a timely and correct manner.
Any irregularities in terms of costs and recoveries should be reported.
Ensure that all modifications are added to the workflow correctly and implemented in accordance with SLA deadlines.
Make that all inquiries are correctly added to the process, dealt with, and answered in accordance with the SLA timelines.

Qualification:
Mathematical senior certificate.
Experience:
5 years minimum minimum of experience working for the utilities
Skills required:
aptitude for maths and financial know-how.aptitude for maths and financial expertise

Knowledge of the electrical grid and the various utilities tariff structures
adequate expertise in a particular discipline
laws and rules governing the needs for municipal/government supplies and services.
