Job description:
The enterprise data governance operations, such as controlling the quality of sensitive data and information assets and monitoring their protection, will be monitored and improved by the data governance analyst. The primary responsibility of the position will be to ensure that all bank teams follow the data policies, standards, and procedures in order to achieve the necessary degree of consistency, quality, and protection to satisfy all business requirements.
Functions:
Implement the overarching goals and data governance strategies specified by the relevant data governance forums.
• Align data governance with the objectives and top priorities of the company
• Deliver performance-related reports and foster agreement among bank employees on the data governance approach.
• Create and oversee a roadmap for implementing enterprise data governance that outlines strategic objectives for the development of information-based capabilities in accordance with the information management strategy and principles of the bank.
• Implement a framework for enterprise-wide data governance with an emphasis on enhancing data quality and safeguarding sensitive data through changes to organizational behavior norms and standards, as well as governance metrics, procedures, related tools, and data architecture.
• Removes duplication and simplifies the external data sources.
• Use data assets to find new business possibilities to accomplish.
Work together with organizational leadership to determine business needs and put data governance policies in place.
• In charge of establishing and maintaining standard data operational procedures
• Ensuring that data practices, policies, and standards are followed in accordance with an enterprise data governance framework on both a technical and functional level.
• Concentrate on reducing the possibility of regulatory fines.
• Establishes accountability for the stewardship and master data assets of the enterprise and defines the roles and duties associated with data governance.
• Act as a point of contact between the business and the technical as well as functional aspects of the technology, and safeguard sensitive and private information.

• Use data assets to identify new business prospects in order to maximize efficiency and represent.

Monitoring measurements and promoting performance through improvement programs will ensure efficient internal controls.

• Create & maintain an enterprise data inventory.
• Assist with the creation and adoption of Data Protection and Data Quality Standards throughout the Organization.
• To aid in resolving complete Data Governance issues that can come up from various Enterprise departments.

Qualification:
degree in computer science or a related field, such as information
Systems, Big Data, etc., or at least 4–6 years of experience in strategic analysis or data governance
• Certification(s) in data governance would be useful
Experience:
4-6 years of solid experience in the data governance sector, with an emphasis on:
• Putting data governance and quality into operation
• Implementing roles, values, guidelines, practices, and procedures for data management and governance
• Implementing master data management, enterprise-level data quality, and related metrics
• Conducting customer interviews and having excellent customer service abilities
