Job description:

A position as an HR Generalist has opened up in our Human Resource Department with the assistance of the HR staff, the incumbent will lend general administrative support.

Function:

HR Generalist to administration of talent acquisition tasks:

upkeep of the talent acquisition administration tracker spreadsheet and timely completion of all tasks

providing managers and applicants with a service that puts their needs first and immediately responding to their inquiries on the Talent Acquisition tracker spreadsheet

Create employment contracts with the required supporting documents (sham paystubs, etc.).

Offer the chosen candidates a job in writing and verbally

Orientation and onboarding of new hires, as well as the recording of pertinent internal forms, are done to make sure that all departments are informed of any new hires.

conduct the necessary background checks for instance, telephone references, credit, and criminal checks

assemble, compile, and update personal records and paperwork for the company.

updating all HR records and databases with new hires and departures

help with monthly and weekly reporting

Roles in IR Administration:

Draught letters for promotions, increases, and conditions of employment

Support the HR team’s administrative needs.

Create formal counselling forms, warnings, and notices of disciplinary hearings, and assist in their distribution.

Facilitate the six-week performance management process and draught records of performance discussions.

Facilitate and oversee all competency trackers’ tracking

By filling internal forms and writing probation letters, you can control the probationary period.

Responsible for maintaining and administering the internal policy and procedure index. This may include saving signed policies and procedures to Google Drive, sharing them with the appropriate staff members, and archiving expired policies and procedures.

designing, editing, and managing a maternity tracker

as necessary, facilitating exit interviews

Qualification:

Completed tertiary education after high school (advantage)

Experience:

demonstrated expertise in a support capacity for an IR or recruitment administrator
strong familiarity with the BCEA, LRA, and associated employment laws.
Understanding of the Employment Equity Act

knowledge of or exposure to the entire recruitment and selection process

Computer literate; preference will be given to those with Google Suite (Google Drive, Sheets, and Docs) expertise.
