Job description:

Learning And Development Administrator must also assist the learner in comprehending the organisational culture by suggesting and/or developing learning opportunities, imparting knowledge in areas like communication, critical thinking, responsibility, flexibility, and teamwork, highlighting strengths and potential development areas, responding to inquiries, and offering personal advice.

Function:

Finding and onboarding learners for learnerships, YES Youth internships, and other opportunities

Assist in the hiring of new hires by helping local HR with the collection of CVs, interviews, appointments, and payrol onboarding.
Verify the accuracy of the employment records needed for the Learnership and HR Onboarding Packs.

Participate in the learner inductions and training.
Human Resource management

Learner supervision is ongoing.
Keep correct records for verifications, such as employment records and attendance logs.
Make sure students fill out and sign timesheets each month and that they are turned in.
Make sure that learners are attending classes as scheduled and completing the necessary assignments, assessments, and portfolio of assessments.
Make sure that staff record their time off on ESS and that the appropriate manager approves it.

Capacity Building

Support learners by providing coaching and mentoring, as well as, if necessary, by interacting with line managers.
When there are concerns with performance or employee relations (absenteeism, etc.), engage with HR, line management, and the employee.

By putting learning schedules and calendars into place and keeping track of them, you can make sure that administration and coordination of learning activities is streamlined.
BBBEE, apprenticeships, yes4youth, internships, and informal education

Make sure that administrative tasks and record-keeping adhere to the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) scorecard’s standards for skills development.
Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting

Support efforts and reporting for SETA/Sectoral Skills Needs, such as the Annual Training Report (ATR) and Workplace Skills Plan (WSP), as well as the collection and record-keeping of learner development plans for Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE).
Maintain trackers and compile reports as necessary.

Qualification:

A diploma or equivalent in learning and development and HR

Experience:

three years of progressively more learning and development.
mature and empathetic enough to connect with the student.
knowledgeable about the MS Office programme suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and advanced MS Excel skills.

Outstanding management, planning, coordination, and capacity for meeting deadlines.
exhibited abilities in project management.
the capacity to involve stakeholders.
analytical and inventive.
Personality traits.
swiftly able to adjust and flexible.
excellent English writing and communication skills.
knowledge of a second South African official language
