Job description:
Millwright will focus on our Generator division, we are looking for a talented and committed Millwright / Industrial Mechanic to join our team. This opportunity is ideal for you if you have a love for accuracy, problem-solving, and mechanical excellence.
Function:
Management of emergency generator and refuelling:
oversee the installation of new generators and manage monthly inspections, load tests, test runs, and tracking of replacement parts.
Generator inspections and
Control the team that refills the generators and oversee routine generator maintenance.
managing the appointment schedule for yearly services.
management reports for generators every month.
Fix any little generator issues.
Make plans to purchase diesel supply and to have them delivered.
reconcile the diesel purchased with the diesel delivered.
Attend to generator faults both during business hours and after.
Keep track of when business vehicles are refuelled.
normal daily checks of the generator monitoring system.
Verify the calibre of newly installed remote equipment and installations.
To supervise installation, meet the contractors on-site.
General & Technical Support
general inquiries are being made on the scene to help.
Reporting and site inspections for new generator services.
Keep track of the materials’ quantity used.
In the absence of a technician, supervise contractors and offer reports on the project’s status.
Qualification:
Millwright certification based on national requirements
An advantage is having N4/N5 mechanical engineering or electrical experience.
Experience required:
demonstrated competence in a millwright or related position.
practical knowledge in working with generators
excellent at following very rigorous safety regulations and being aware of safety risks
adept at using troubleshooting methods to address generator problems
Other attributes:
For generator management, mechanical and technical ability are needed.

Imported information:
A current driver’s licence is necessary.
For the delivery of diesel, a valid driver’s licence with PrDP “D” is very advantageous.
