Job description:
This includes organisational development interventions focused on performance management optimisation and employee recognition, delivering a professional service to key stakeholders in terms of leadership development, organisational maturity development, learning, and cultural initiatives that maximise return on our human capital. This person is in charge of GWK’s end-to-end training and development functions.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in industrial psychology or human resource management, with an emphasis on honours.
Function:
In terms of policy, procedure, process, and control, manage GWK’s training and development portfolio, taking into account reporting, the Skills Development component of the BBBEE scorecard, and any applicable regulatory obligations.
Based on an annual study of training and development needs and input from the appropriate administration, plan and coordinate GWK’s training and development initiatives.
Help employees with their personal development plans (PDPs), career trajectories, and career counselling.
oversee the internal bursary programme.
Training courses are continually created and improved to help GWK’s divisions meet their WSP and ATR goals.
compilation of WSPs for GWK to guarantee adherence to the necessary SETA requirements.
Within GWK, the selection, placement, and management of apprentices, interns, and graduates
continuous coordination of SETA financing.
managing the finances and resources of the business unit.
Stay current.
Experience:
Working understanding of the Employment Equity Act, the Basic Conditions of Employment Act, the Labour Relations Act, and the Skills Development Act, as well as familiarity with the QCTO and SETA activities
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a comparable position
Valid Code B driver’s licence is required when travel is involved.
SABPP will be a recommendation for professional registration.
Sage 300: PEOPLE knowledge will be helpful.
